  CERN was fantastic! It was great to see the control room where such incredible science takes place. Unfortunately when I visited there was a lot of work going on fixing problems in the accelerator – But I was able to see LINAC3, one of the initial linear accelerators that first accelerates ions s before releasing them into successively larger circular accelerators.
