• Question: Do you think we will be able to print people in 3D printers soon?

      I don’t know about whole people, but we are starting to be able to 3D print spare parts for people who have lost them or need replacing – I think we printed out an ear skeleton that you can then grow your own skin over, which is super cool. I know we’re working on printing kidney skeletons too, which will be really useful for people who need them.

      We can print out artificial limbs and other replacement body parts, but I think it’ll be a while before we can print whole people. We’d never be able to reproduce human brains, though – even if we could print a body, we’d need to transplant a brain into it!
