• Question: How are you planning to make and advertise your videos?

      I plan on filming the videos myself on my DSLR camera, but to conduct the interviews properly I’ll need to buy two new microphones (one ‘shotgun’ mic that fits on the camera for filming scientists in their labs and one clip-on lapel mic for the sit-down interviews). I’ll then need to edit the videos, for which I’ll need to get some professional editing software and learn how to use.

      I’m going to advertise them on Twitter, on my current blog and also set up a new blog using WordPress or similar with a custom domain name. The videos will be hosted on YouTube and made public and searchable to enable them to reach the widest audience. With any luck I’ll also persuade the researchers and universities involved to share the videos as well!
