Question: how do you think the world will end and how?

I think it’ll be through the 6th mass extinction event, like when the dinosaurs were wiped out. We’re ruining the atmosphere, driving other species to extinction, causing global warming… I don’t know what it’ll be, but I think it’ll be down to our meddling!

I agree with Sarah that it will probably be our own doing, but we have been around for a fraction of the Earth’s lifetime so we will be around for a very long time. We will face some big tests though for example through something like a super volcano that may hugely change how we have to live life.

I’m going to disagree with the others and say that if the world ends, it’ll be a natural disaster we didn’t see coming, like an asteroid or a supervolcano.
Humans are slowly destroying our planet through global warming, overpopulation and various other terrible things, but I think that we as a species have been smart enough to recognise this and I think we’re smart enough to know we need to stop mistreating our planet. Hopefully soon we’ll start behaving more responsibly, overcome global warming and learn to take a bit more care of the Earth. For the moment, at least, it’s the only planet we’ve got, so we need to make it last.
