Good question! I’ve never written a song about science before…I think I’d write one about what it would be like to be an electron, a tiny little particle smaller than an atom just bouncing around inside a piece of metal. Electrons can appear to be in more than one place at a time and can communicate with other electrons almost instantaneously (faster than the speed of light, we think!).

I think it would be really cool to write a song about what it would be like to be one of those!

I’d make up a song about something students have to memorise to pass their exams. Probably the order of reactivity of elements in the periodic table or something 🙂 Or maybe ways of generating energy, I think the students I tutor often find that one difficult.

I’d maybe make one up about the planets to help people remember the names and also what they are made of, how many moons they have and any particularly special moons like Titan which has liquid lakes of organic material (maybe)!

Mine would probably be something supremely silly, but I’m not sure what it would be about! Maybe space cats exploring the galaxy.
