• Question: if you got offered a job at NASA visiting schools and explaining the world of science would you take it or ignore it?

      Ooh, tough question. I really enjoy talking about science and running school events, but I think I’d regret taking any job that didn’t involve still doing some research. It would be really cool to work for NASA though – if they’d still let me do research for them at the same time, then I’d take the job!

      As long as there was some room for research, I’d be up for it! If I felt like it was making a big enough difference I’d be ok with losing the time for research, but that’s a judgement call that’s hard to make in advance!

      @324frcc29 definitely – my job now is so much more about trying to get money to do the research and less about actually doing it that a job at NASA explaining science to schools would make a refreshing change!
