  @Ananya Hmmmm, well I suppose humans could destroy humans, or a super volcano could wipe out most of life on the planet, but that is unlikely to happen in the near future.

  It’s definitely possible, and there are all kinds of ways it could happen – war, global warming, volcanoes, earthquakes, meteorites – but all of these ways are so unlikely that they probably won’t ever come to pass. None of them keep me awake at night at least, so I wouldn’t worry about it too much!
