@freddie YES! everything is about science. Absolutely everything. Everything you do – computers, TV, gaming, cooking, transport, music…. – is all as a result of science, not to mention industry, the economy, medicine, security…. All of it is science based. In fact I’m struggling to think of anything that doesn’t depend on science. Even the arts (cinema, theatre) need science. Added to that the wonder of the thing – how amazing it is to understand how things work, whats up in the sky, the universe, the big bang, the Earth, where we came from, where we are going. I could go on and on and on. And, doing science opens up all sorts of possibilities for your future. Go on… do it! By taking an interest in this event you are a scientist already!!!

Depends! Do you -want- to be a scientist? If you want to do it, then yes. You should absolutely be a scientist. Are you worried about being a scientist for a particular reason? Assess that reason – how severe is it?

Definitely! Science is brilliant, really useful and really interesting.

We need all the new scientists we can get and being a scientist will open up many job opportunities in the future for you. The more scientists we get, the more things we can learn and the better we can make our world. So go on, go be a scientist – the world needs you!
