      There are a few elements of safety to consider. Firstly, if you’re putting something on the side of an aircraft you have to make sure it still has the same steering, so it doesn’t suddenly tilt to the less for example! I have to make sure that it won’t interfere with any of the other equipment on the aircraft, like when you have to turn your mobile phone off on aeroplanes. We have to do desk assessments where we read the paperwork and make sure it’s safe to even start testing, then we test it on the ground first to make sure nothing strange happens, then we can finally test it in the air… when we can trust it’s not going to fall out of the sky!
