@Harry Oo Quite often we are nostalgic when we are reminded of something from the past and feel a sense of loss that that moment has gone. It normally happens when we are going through changes of circumstances, or are anxious about something else, and we want the perceived security of a time gone by. It is perfectly normal to be nostalgic, and everyone does it. However, it is best not to dwell on the past for too long as we all need to deal with the present.

Nostalgia seems to be a mixture of remembering things we enjoyed in the past, and simplifying how straightforward everything was “back then”. If it seems like ‘things were better back then’, you have a reason to feel nostalgic.

Nostalgia is just when we remember the good times in our past and wish we could go back to those times. The other side of the coin is optimism, where we look forward to the future because we know it’s going to be even better!
