      We’ll almost certainly continue to adapt to our environments – but it will take a very long time.

      Eventually, sure. The novel “The Time Machine” by H. G. Wells talks about this kind of thing, where the main character goes off into the future to see how/if humanity has evolved…I’ll let you read it for yourself to see what happens!
