Something I’ve been steadily learning over my (relatively short) career is that I can never be fully prepared for things which have an element of unpredictability! I’m sure people will ask questions I don’t know the answers to, and that’s the bit which is unpredictable.

The live chats will be intense, and I just hope I don’t make a fool out of myself, but I am excited for the event all the same, and ready as I’ll ever be! 🙂

I’m beginning to wonder what I have let myself in for! But if nothing else, it will be very different from my usual job, and hopefully a lot of fun. My only problem is that all the staff on my corridor (from whom I was going to illicit answers) seem to have disappeared off on holiday !!!

Well, I’m excited! I usually find that I learn just as much from thinking about audience questions at public events as the audience members themselves do – I’m looking forward to learning something from the questions our audience have in store for us!

I’m looking forward to it! I get unusual questions about space a lot, and they’re fun to answer – I’m curious to see the questions the students have!

I am as ready as I will ever be! Though, it will still be diving in at the deep end for the first live chat – I hope I’m not overwhelmed with questions!

As apprehensive as I am, I’m still looking forward to getting started. I enjoy high pressure fast interactions, it can be a thrill, so the live chats will definitely be interesting. I only hope no one asks a question that leaves me blank!
