@jessicaspiderrcool definitely – there is scientific evidence for evolution

Evolution happens in front of us all the time, if you know where to look for it. Animals are changing their behaviour in response to human activity – the flu virus is different every year – you can catch the common cold an almost infinite number of times – some diseases are becoming resistant to antibiotics – the list continues. Especially for diseases, which can evolve very rapidly, it’s easy to see how they change on short timescales!

I definitely believe in evolution – there’s a lot of evidence for it, both on large scales over long times (like the evolution of humans, or even of dinosaurs) and on short scales with bacteria in labs. The evidence for evolution is overwhelming and there’s no compelling alternative!
