• Question: have you ever done any thing life threatening in your lab???

      No, but when I’m joining in on experiments with my colleagues, we have to go through a lot of safety procedures to make sure nothing goes wrong (like the experiment explodes, or we get zapped by high intensity X-rays)

      Fortunately for my mental health, I never have to do anything life-threatening for my science!

      My lab is more of an active runway, in that it’s outside… on a runway! Theoretically I shouldn’t be doing anything life threatening because we plan everything out beforehand and think about all the things that could go wrong. People do die in aviation but I’m hoping the stuff I do isn’t that dangerous…
