Have you never watched the Big Bang Theory !! It’s a brilliant comedy show on TV and is highly accurate in all of the physics! So I think the universe began with the big bang.

The generally accepted view is that the Big Bang started the universe. No one knows why or what happened before it, or even if there was a ‘before’. We just know that almost 14 billion years ago, the universe exploded into existence, expanding at a rapid pace until it slowed down and became the universe we live in now.

That’s what the evidence says, at least. Science doesn’t depend much on our opinions or beliefs, it’s about looking at the evidence and drawing the best conclusion we can. At the moment, the Big Bang theory is the best explanation we have, but who knows…if we find new evidence, we might have to change our minds. That’s the great thing about science – it’s always changing and improving!
