      Just since September of last year! Once you finish up your PhD, if you stay in the academic track (if you want to be a professor eventually), you wind up doing a few positions as a post-doctoral researcher. I.e., I’ve finished my Ph.D., and am now just doing research! These positions only last for 2-3 years and are scattered across the globe, so you wind up moving around a lot!
