If two galaxies collide, it shouldn’t impact the Earth too much, since the collisions between galaxies are almost never collisions between stars. The orbit of the star around the galaxy might get changed, but the star itself and its solar system should stay intact! The only way we might have a problem is if the orbit of the sun falls much closer to the center black hole, where the radiation might be too extreme for life.
