• Question: if you could do a different kind of science what kind of science would it be

      @579frcc29 well I did my degree in physics but work in an Earth Science department. And all that has taught me is that I would love to do geophysics as a degree – it’s amazing learning the physics of how the earth works. Secretly I would love to be able to work on string theory or something equally geeky.

      I would do marine biology. I think it would be great to go abroad and look at all the creatures living in the sea! Or I would do veterinary science. There’s a bit of an animal theme going on here…

      Maybe paleontology! Mostly because then I’d have a job studying dinosaurs, and that would be pretty cool. I like astronomy though, I’m not sorry I wound up studying space.
