• Question: Is Teleportation achievable(not now but in the future)?

      Probably not! Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, for one thing, so if we broke a person down into all their tiny atoms and beamed them off somewhere, it would still take ages for them to get there and then we’d have no way to put them all back together again! I’m not sure it’ll ever be possible to do that.

      There is a thing called quantum teleportation though, where very small particles can communicate with other small particles by ‘teleporting’ information between them, but it’s not quite the same as what you might see in something like Star Trek!

      @859frcc45 I would really love that – no more traffic jams, no more tube journeys….. you had better become a whizz scientist to work out how to do it!
