      @horse_life_tgs an apocalypse is the complete and final destruction of the world. The word itself actually means to uncover or reveal. How the world will finally end is anybody’s guess, but unless there is human intervention, the natural ending of the world won’t be for about 10 billion years.

      Generally, it’s used to refer to any catastrophic destruction of all life on the planet. We don’t have too many natural cause apocalypse bringers waiting around, other than asteroid impacts and global warming – and then of course the scorching of the earth by the sun in 1 billion years.
