@Embob time is a measure of the passing of events. It is also thought of as the fourth dimension after the three dimensions in space. There are theories in physics (Einstein) which say that the passing of time changes depending on how fast you are travelling.

Time and space are just small parts of a greater whole. We life in a universe which has three dimensions of space and one of time. Mathematically, time and space are almost identical to each other. We perceive time as different to space, but no one’s really sure why. There are some quantum theories that try to explain it, but no one’s managed yet.

Einstein’s theory of relativity showed us how time and space are linked. Put simply, the faster you travel in space, the slower you travel in time. So if you could move at the speed of light, from your point of view you’d see time stop!
