Because you get stretched out like a piece of spaghetti!

The way gravity works is that the closer you are to something, the more it pulls on you. If you were to enter a black hole feet-first, the force of gravity on your feet would be even stronger than the force of gravity on your head, so your feet would get pulled in faster than your head would. This means you’d get stretched out like a piece of spaghetti, which is why it’s called ‘spaghettification’!
