Science is important because it’s the basis for almost everything in the modern world. Science gave us electricity, clean water, telecommunications, computers, cars, planes, architecture and structural engineering, satellites, the internet, medicine…the list just goes on and on!

Without science, we’d only make big discoveries rarely and by chance. Science is a way of focusing our efforts and trying to figure out an efficient way to make new discoveries that will improve everyone’s lives.

So I think science is important because it can help make the world a better place!

@sen#science As well as what Steven said, science is also so important because of our curiosity to understand stuff. To find out where we come from and where we might be going. To understand humans and our place in the universe.

Science makes up us, our Universe, everything around us. It’s the most important thing!* I think as much as it directs our study, we can’t help it, it’s just there.

      *In my humble opinion.
