• Question: will humanity ever be able to touch the stars or live in space?

      @14PearsonV Wow wouldn’t that be great! Firstly, if we could touch our own sun we would be touching a star! But the problem with that is that it is very hot – far too hot to get anywhere near. It’s 6000 degrees! So you would burn up before you got anywhere near. As for living in space, well people do that already on the space station. In fact, part of the experimental programme on the space station is seeing what happens to humans in weightlessness. The results will help scientists to work out if living in space could ever be a permanent reality. So you never know…..!!

      Oh, I truly hope so. I want to go to space, so very badly. Did you see the Wanderers video? I wanted all of that for all of humanity.

      To get there faster, humanity needs to work together a bit more, and value science a lot more- we can do amazing things. We’ve touched a comet this year with one of our creations – surely we will get there ourselves.
